Product Description:
Counteract wheel balancing beads are a loose balancing media that goes inside the tire. As the wheel rotates, the beads shift to help offset heavy spots, which is a different approach from attaching weights to the rim. This 12 oz bag is the largest size in the WBB range, so it suits customers who want a bigger supply on hand.
Internal balancing is popular where the wheel is hard to balance with conventional weights, and it is often considered for larger tires and heavier-duty applications. Because the beads work inside the tire, there is nothing on the rim to scratch, fall off or interfere with the wheel finish. Bulk bag sizes also help a shop avoid reordering as often.
The amount you need depends on the tire and application, so follow the manufacturer’s instructions for how much to use. The same product is available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 oz bags if you prefer a smaller quantity.
